Hi Martin,

It's leaking because the 'O' rings have flattened and the cause of that is movement of the three plastic parts. The solution is to fit new 'O' rings then crucially move the two serrated clips on the straight pipe fully outwards so that they are hard up against the water pump and thermostat housings. This renders the whole assembly rigid.

I discovered this through painstaking research and experimentation on my own car which has been leak free ever since.

By the way Martin, your profile doesn't mention a V6.
