Hi guys
I've picked up my set of straights from stocktake today.
Dave gave me two sets of centre caps. 1 plastic, one metal. The inner badge on them has delaminated, as they do with age.
I have been experimenting and stripped the rubbish coating off one of the plastic ones successfully and cleaned it up, as you can see from the pic, it looks a lot better, however - my first question is, how do I now prep this before applying a new coat of lacquer?

Second question, I am not sure I can fix some of the metal centre badges, but obviously the metal ones are superior to the plastic. Does anyone make these badges for straight centres anywhere?
