It's rather like the no MOT needed on a classic...lots of people get one anyway to help with insurance cover in the case of an accident.



I just hope the local MOT station will still be going - best we all try and give them business as usual where possible! Wonder if the Govt. have a plan to help the stations through this time where test numbers are bound to fall.



Perhaps it would have been better to implement a rolling month on month suspension on testing until the COVID-19 issues subside enough to allow some degree of normality?

Effectively they have a rolling extension by extending the expiry date of MOTs back by six months from when it currently expires.
