Default Electric Fan problem solved . Big thanks

Houston we have lift off.

I would just like to say a big thank you to all the guys on here that helped me diagnose the problem I was having.

Story so far: After a long journey back home my Rover 75 T suddenly started to over heat to such an extent I had to pull over.. I let it cool down and continued my short journey home on closer inspection I found that the fan blades had come off....I managed after some time to take the front off and re attached the blade with self tappers (tip from the forum) On taking further advise from the forum I started the car with the demister on the fan motor ran well I doubled check again and disconnected the temp sensor (tip from the forum) again fan motor ran well. I as relieved to hear the sensor on the fan cowling as ok at this stage (tip from the forum).
But I still was very nervous about this overheating...having nightmares about waterpump/thermostat/electrical problems even if I had done damage to the turbo. On asking the forum again I had completely forgot about the OBC...I ran a check as advised I could not drive as the car is now on sorn..so on the drive I let it run for 20 mins the temp went up to 85 then I waited with bated breath to see what would happen at 104 degrees. .Low and behold the fan came in right on the button. cooled the engine down to 92 and stopped...I was having thoughts about selling as spares because on spending over 6K on the car I did not want to spend anymore as I now have a new car....But now I have a car thats worth something...going to MOT next month when its due and sell it maybe or even keep it..as they are going up in value.
So thanks again every one
