I don't use the trains that frequently despite having free travel, dunno if its something to do with the fact that I used to drive them but I find train travel extremely boring.

The last long distance journey was an ordeal, we had to go to Torquay for a funeral, over 8 hours and unbelievably the Cross Country service from Edinburgh to Newton Abbot was a 3 car unit, absolutely heaving, had to play musical chairs all the way down.
