Hi super s,

I must say, it does sound like the DMF. The problem I have with that is that the DMF almost never fails. Is there any clunking or banging or knocking noises accompanying the vibration? Maybe have a look at the crankshaft pulley/damper to see if the two halves (inner and outer) are separating. This IS a pretty common failure item.
