Cable ties hold mine on a treat. Never come off yet. Admittedly there are a couple of bolts still fitted but when I replaced the 75 front end for a ZT one I could not get the tray to fit back on. It seemed to be about half an inch too short. Do they really make all that much difference to the noise from a cdti?
Anyway bigger worries than that to contend with. My wife's Renault Laguna 111 which we have had for 3 years has been absolutely faultless. I drove it last night and found a headlight out. No warning on the dash mind, that must be too much for Renault even though it checks everything else. Off to Halfrauds this morning and was pleasantly to find the bulb very accessible. Changed the bulb but still not working. No separate fuse for it so maybe the dreaded Renault electrical gremlins have struck. I am going to check for power at the connector first. Of course in the old days I would have run a wire from the one that worked and see if that fixed it bit I don't fancy removing the battery and carrier to get at it. Please save me from Renault dealer diagnostics.
