Thanks for the excellent explanation.
I was wondering if he knew what he was saying because when I asked a few questions about aspects of it, he wasn't too sure about how to answer.
I had read before about having to take it out to read, but didn't want to question his 'expertise'.
The keys and immobilizers are my kryptonite.
I just don't get them!
Also, on my car stereo cars, at the bottom it is printed
Key replacement code then a number.
It says to order replacement car keys to go to Rover directly and contact them.
Is this relevant, or is it relating to the old stereo system.
It reads as if relates to the car keys though?
