Fortunately it is a bolt on job how its done with bumper in situ is a mystery but well worth taking the effort to remove bumper and check for further damage that may have taken place. I am sure the ladder section where the bumper latches on has a bolt or two securing the wing to another panel. Hope you sort it out ok.
