That's a shame Stu, will the damage compound out, or is it through the paint?
I had something similar, although I knew who had done the damage, as the yellow paint on my bumper, matched perfectly the paint on the yellow Corsa, belonging to the oik who had done it.
He denied it of course, but then again I've been sat in a friend's car chatting before, when someone did similar, and they denied it also
It's for this reason I run old bangers, it saves me getting too upset when this sort of thing happens.
