I know this is a very old thread, but did you know that Freddie owned a ZT?

He did, 52 plate 190 non plus is a non metallic dark blue colour

I worked for the Rover Dealer in Burton 2001-2005 and he lived then about 3 miles away, and he would pop in for a bit of banter with the boys.

A real lovely guy and always willing to have a laugh...and just like that be bought a pre reg ZT from my colleague.

I remember it well, badged as a 190 but had no rear spoiler, manual aircon, And was in the non metallic dark blue colour of a 75. It was a rover car with delivery miles on from memory!

Don’t think he kept it long.

We saw him live in Great Yarmouth in the early 80s, my parents were a little shocked as he was rather more “blue“ in concert, I was only about 9 lol!

Made worse by my dad locking the keys of the MK2 Cavalier hire car (our sierras back axle was being replaced under warranty) we had in it! A nice man from the AA rescued is with a wire coat hanger....those were the days!
