I'm not suggesting that you change that, only that some measurements might help check that the fuel gauge is telling the truth.

Yes, there isna rheostat on the filter side too.
My fuel gauge telling the truth ,I completely emptied the tank and added 15 liters of fuel and the gauge indicated a quarter of the tank.
