Jim Deacon guitars varied in quality from year to year. They weren't made in one factory but sourced from various far eastern manufacturers and branded as Jim Deacon. Most far eastern copies the body and neck are ok but suffer from poor quality electrical components, cheap tone capacitors and control pots for tone and volume. If you ever want to give it a new lease on life give me a shout.
