I've just hooked up this unit to my V6, and if I've done it correctly it would seem that both VIS Valves are duff.

Is the car's engine supposed to be running, or at least the ignition be on when using the tester?

I didn't have either on, and with the Power VIS Valve all I get is a click no LED, and with the Balance VIS Valve I get a constant Blue LED and again a click when the button is pressed.

If they are both U/S, do I need to buy new ones, or can they be repaired (I think Stocktake does this doesn't he?)
