As you say the price is only an asking price, but since you are a Two-Sixties member you can check out the Two-Sixties Forum 'Complete list of 260s For Sale' updated daily, and the monthly "Ins-and-Outs" summaries of all known 260/R75V8 sales over the last 3 years, with asking prices, dates of sale and often confirmed sales price too. That gives a more accurate picture, but still nothing that you could call a trend yet, I think.
