I've been trying for the past 2 hours to see, find, smell, touch and maybe one day - extract the starter motor upper mounting bolt. (diesel). Yes I have Arctic's otherwise impeccable How To (

PS A maybe obvious tip but I couldn't shift the lower mounting bolt till I tied the 15mm ring spanner with a piece of cord, in case it slipped off and dropped into the undertray - and with no means of crawling underneath as it's not on ramps - I then wedged a long bit of wood against the spanner and hit it with a mallet. That did the trick.
