Since FB took over and verbally assaulted every panellist she personally took issue with, the big beasts give it a wide berth. So, at best, you get second tier views. When non-politicians appear, they invariably talk sense. Rather like John Cauldwell (the ex-phones-for-you chap).
The trouble is the only commentators who take the risk of a chair are forced to accept her as a boss rather than facilitator. She herself does not realise that facilitator is her role (which is much harder to master than a boss) and the BBC think of her as a star and pay her a fortune which reinforces her delusions of grandeur.
I bet she will be allowed to maintain her opinions and views following any future reorganisation. Even worse, she knows nowt about antiques either.
