Finally, a fully charged impact wrench and the bolt didn’t put up a fight.
The next faff was putting the new belt on, the tensioner at its limit and still I couldn’t get the thing on, in the end I got it partially fitted to the pulley then turned the engine over and success at last.
All back together and started and a quiet car again.
Tomorrow’s job is to jet wash the wheel arch before refitting the liner and undertray.
