A personal plate is only worth what someone will pay for it. The DVLA have many for sale at £80 inclusive. I think plates with car related rather than initials seem to be worth more, and the one you have mentioned will only suit cars from a certain era, which will get less over time. I had SE04 ROV on my 75 Contemporary SE for some time, but it is on retention as I now have R25 VER. May retain it or sell - I have about 8 years left to decide.
