I remove mine, (the bolts are there and visible, easy enough to remove without issue if I recall). Pedro is removing his for the same reason I did mine. I saw witness marks of rubbing on the pipework where it had spent then 11 years resting and vibrating on it.

I may return it if I ever put the FBH in. Hoses look untidy with it removed but they are now sheathed in a plastic cable tidy wrap and secured so as not to rub on anything.
