John.

I don't know if you know this and I found out by accident.----The housing with the bush in it has a hole through the casting.--It is very easy to put a nail bar through this hole to rotate the housing.--I put a scissors jack under the end of the nail bar to keep the housing flat against the car chassis.

Sounds complicated but in fact it's very easy and quick to do. Much better than trying to fit a G clamp around the odd shaped housing.

I then used a small mirror on a telescopic handle to look down the bolt holes to position the arm.--Lubricate the rubber bush well with liquid soap so it can be slid along to the correct position.--This is very important.-- Small mirrors on sticks.--Lidl's. Always handy to have.
