With several posts agreeing, it looks like the answer to the question in post #1 is "27/28mpg". Just a tad more or less depending on percent of favourable/unfavourable conditions; just over the 30 is possible.
... in town in the winter months, 'enjoying that V8 growl' or simply overall (18/20???) is another matter. Depends so much on conditions and driving style.
Into the single figures is not unknown!
