Hi Simon
The reason for changing the matrix was covert little warm air coming through the passenger vents……

So I came home with the car driving normal, pulled up outside my house and heard the fan on… hhmmm, then looked at the temp gauge and it was fully on the red marker…. I popped the bonnet and all looked fine, coolant hoses were normal to touch (as expected) and nothing nasty from the expansion bottle….. I was even able to remove the cap without any issues

So I drove the car down onto my drive and left it there…..I left the car for over 24 hrs and went to start her and that’s when I noticed she wouldn’t start….. left her again as had plans and again tried tonight….. checked the rev counter was flickering to which it was slightly, but the temp sensor rose as soon as I turned the ignition, but like I say the engine was stone cold

I hope all of that makes sense.

Cheers
Steve
