I uploaded the 8.0.2 update this morning Tony and backed up everything to an external wireless hard drive, plus I am running the complete back up to the icloud via wifi in the background. It says it will take 6 hours to do it this way. Is there a speed up? I backed up the phone and it only took a few minutes.
Despite what Apple said to Ratty, the roll back to 7.0 is still available for my device. I am doing everything I need to do in prep, if I decide that the latest update does not live up to its claims. Having said this and considered your advice, I want to work through these problems. Thank you
For now I am holding off and will try and get on with the video editing on the iPad. I am grateful that the Androids have kept out of this
