A slightly better idea. Put some lubricating oil. ( A small quantity. ) inside a very small balloon. Slip this over the end of the throttle cable with an elastic band to hold it in place.---Squeeze the balloon gently and the lubricating oil will travel the length on the the cable and lubricate any dry sections very efficiently..------


PS.--WD 40 is not a lubricant.
