Default Damsel in distress

The auxiliary belt in my auto 75 decided it wanted to part company with the car on Monday night, just as I started to reverse out of a supermarket/ takeaway joint.
After lifting the bonnet, and shaking the head, as you do, the chap in the car next to me asked what was up. When I told him, he just asked if there was anything he could do, and offered to give me a lift to anywhere I wanted to go.
So nice to be on the receiving end of people’s curtesy and generosity.👍
I had a mate to help me out, so I sincerely thanked him for his offer, but told him I was ok.....and then proceeded to whack into a special fried rice in the car 😱, while I waited for the tow truck.
No point in letting it go cold.😳
( the crankshaft pulley had failed, taking the belts out).🙄
