I reckon so.
It'll be the ownership of something which is exceptionally rare or even unique that'll attract some folks.
Sadly, the grizzly details may well make it even more attractive. People buy paintings which are known to be stolen so they can't let it be known that they have them. But they still buy them in the first place.
But who knows? I'd like to think I'm very wide of the mark but time will tell.
