A bit off car subject, I know, but thanks for your post. I actually had a detached retina in my other eye 2 years ago but this one was on top of 3 tears I had in the retina of this eye only 2 months ago. This was different to the first one I had. It was a shadow on top of eye, the tears were treated with laser. My surgeon who did them said this was in a different area. The last detach op they used air to fill the gap but gas was used for this one. They said would take 3 months to dissipate. I already had cataract surgery and both lenses were replaced following the first detachment. Then in Dec had lasar to clear furring in the lenses. Then came the tears 2 weeks later and now this. Just unreal. I hope it will be OK, but won't know for another week.
