Reading all the above makes me thankful that my job was too complex for the others I worked with to understand.
I was left completely to my own devices.
The bugbear of the job was that I had to be 100% correct all of the time. The smallest mistake could be very expensive.
Slightly trying but not having to put up with other people was great compensation.
It's satisfying to work at something you like and not just being there for the money as most folk have to do.
