Thanks for the help guys, I finally fixed the cruise control if turned out to be the wrong cable as told to me. It was a cable that goes to a grey box behind the stereo. I think its the interface for rhe steering wheel controls. Turns out it has similar cables except a big green one is a give away. I now have it all working again.
