Morning Phil, I'm sure there is something out there that can do that, I was watching a video last week & this guy had a dashcam that recorded frontwards & backwards, Mind you he was in a pick up truck, Not sure if that would work in a car!!!
Tesla cars have a "Sentry mode" system with four or six (cant remember) cameras from all sides.
Remarkable feature that's caught lots of ne'er do wells,vandals, crashes & the like. lots of vids on youtube regarding that feature.
