That may well be your perfect answer Andy,

Fit the whole set onto the walnut wheel, and then you have two totally interchangeable wheels.

However, best to check that the C/C wires can be pulled out of the plug, or otherwise isolated (cut) just in case it interferes with the car's main electronics.

Probably being overcautious, I know.
