Mr recollection is that it won't, as I seem to remember that the original module is designed to work with the 'widescreen' analogue TV module fitted to the BMW. Reading the info on his website: http://pibus.info/tv/ it seems it is possible to use the 4:3 ratio video module fitted to the Rover, but the preferred and easiest solution is to use the 16:9 aspect module as shown on his site.
When I converted my hiline set-up, I fitted a converted 16:9 video module, fitted with the PVT set-up, a Mk IV trip computer / DVD drive, BM24 radio module (fitted with the twin radio tuner) and a 16:9 wide screen bord monitor, they were all ex-BMW parts and worked 'straight out of the box'
