When you look at those figures in the context of the Track and Trace fiasco it is difficult to get a firm grip on just about anything.

Fewer than half of the ‘close contacts’ of patients who test positive are being alerted and told to self-isolate. This is from Serco, the company that have a contract with gov.uk for £108 million pounds, to do that precise task. The same Serco that underwent close examination some time ago over yet another failure to do what was required under contract. Is anybody in charge? More importantly, who knows whom?
