This has been brought on another classic car forum I am a member of, we get many one off technical queries and once answered you are lucky if you even get a thank you.
Several suggestions have been made how to stop it, one that seems popular is you can only start a new thread if you have been involved in at least 10 other threads.
I think Face book has caused a lot of this, not that I use it but I believe many people use it just to get a question answered.
