Few pictures below, if you have the wires to the connector block then you don't need to feed any across the car.

You could tell if the wires are present from the loom you have pictured but even if you find out one way or another it won't help you to do the job unless you are not bothering if you don't have the wires to the doors

If the wires are not there then you need to take wires across the inside of the car to the other mirror but you need to take the doors off anyway to do the job so go for it and just be prepared to run the extra wires if you need to

The conduit you refer to has to have wires passed through as you thought but with the doors off its quite an easy task
