The socket you use to undo wheel nuts with..... wrap masking tape around the outside.
- makes it easier to spot when in your socket set with the others *
- avoids the risk of scratching your alloy when in use.
- * or always keep a socket (with masking tape on) in the rear ashtray so you always know where it is... I bet none of us let anybody smoke in the back seat anyway!
Re the earlier windscreen wiper threads ... I use a couple of clothes pegs on the arms of the wipers to hold the rubber away from the screen. If you do forget them, they "flip" 90 degrees out of the way but stay on the arms.
