Dick Barton was I think just post war about late 1945/46 BBC Radio, the Light program 15minutes and around 5.15pm or 5.45pm ?? maybe got the times wrong. It was considered in our circles as a bit over the top!! We were braught up on Paul Temple with his brave and resourceful wife 'Steve' who predated Dick Barton 1944ish?
