Of course the ultimate in technology will be when all cars are tracking the behaviour of those in their vicinity on the road and reporting this to central databases. The data can then be used for traffic enforcement, determining insurance premiums and so on. Also, with photographic evidence, no one will be able to claim that someone else was driving their car.
The missiles mounted on overhead gantries will neutralize drivers who are becoming an excessive nuisance to others or violating the rules consistently.
It's all coming!
