Mam was joking about leaving us out of her will, I got a card & flowers coming back from the funeral & went round with them for a chat. My older brother lives there with her & see's to her. I go round twice a week to see if she needs shopping or such, but I've been run off my feet lately.

What an idyllic place you have there, Bootiful pictures Phil it looks so tropical there.

I've been in the greenhouse to open windows & door as it's getting warm although no direct sunlight, The bell pepper & chilli seedlings will like this warmer weather.

Simon & Louis want to be out in this nice weather to. They've been kept in for a while as there are a few fledglings out of their nests & on the lawn. I made sure they weren't about before letting them out.

Good morning Ian

Thank you for the photos as we love seeing what you are up to.

Thank you for the update and for reassuring me about your mum and Noreen.

Do check to see if Noreen is on blood thinners or anti clotting medication if the confined to bed carries on. Loss of muscle power, muscle tone and sometimes the legs contract if in bed for a long time, hence the need for community physiotherapy. Noreen or yourself will have to keep ringing up until you get a result and chase up Mediquip.

Let’s hope the stair lift comes through. It will make such a difference.

It’s lovely to see the weather is improving and the temperatures going up in the greenhouse.

Today, I hoping for a 3rd CCTV to be put up high at the back of the house which will overlook our new neighbours and our back garden. The new neighbours are going to knock down the existing house and wall separating our properties. We have asked them to put up temporary tin fence up so that our security is not compromised during the house rebuilding works.

We do have a high hedge which is ours and they asked if we could cut it down, we said no.

The cameras will be useful to see if they get up to any tricks whilst we are away. When I spoke to the owner, the new neighbour, he boasted how money was no object and he will do what he wants on his own property, he was a bit of an arrogant so and so. I told him to calm down and have a fag.

I reported him to the environmental agency for wanting to destroy our hedge and have threatened him with legal action if he tries anything on. Not a great start for harvesting neighbourly relations.

They won’t be starting work until the rains have stopped.

Time to get up and face the day
