no, the original switch is always open 3 channel
the 3 switch positions are momentary inputs.

You may be able to do what you want with a latching relay with the NC output to ECON, the NO output to SPORT.

one press latches on to sport (delatching when ignition is off) and opening the NC enon mode line, latching back releases the SPORT line and remakes the ECON

trouble is finding a switching relay which will latch and break on the same input...
