redex will do little if anything, particularly over a short period of time.

When you service it, get a bottle of Forte Specialist Injector cleaner, and when replacing the fuel filter, empty the Forte treatment into it, then fit the filter. Start the engine, and idle for about 20 seconds. Then shut it off and leave to soak overnight. The next day, give it an 'Italian tune-up'.

You should notice an improvement in the responsiveness, even just a little. It may improve the economy, although, I dont recall mine doing so, but it felt a lot smoother, at idle, and will hopefully give your injectors a little more life.
