So you want to lift all four corners two feet off the ground using axle stands? Good luck with that - it sounds rather precarious to me, but I am a nancyboy when it comes to laying under a car. Getting just one end onto stands gives me the willies, so both is another thing altogether. The problem (for me anyway) is the inadequate provision of central jacking points.
