During my checks, a few days ago, I noticed the pad wear sensor wire was unattached. Strange, as the warning light hadn't shown (or does it have to earth, via the pad backing? So today I replaced it with a new one. The spring clip had rusted away. Only needed a bit of fiddling about under the bonnet to undo the joint, released the clips and "Hey Presto", job done. Unfortunately, I discovered where the slight "Clonk" was coming from, whilst braking. The wishbone rubber joint has deteriorated so have ordered a pair from Matt. Why do I not find these things in the summer? Another cold day in the garage it is then!
