As Vitesse says, try it that way Billy. I'd suggest that you fill only to the 'MAX' mark then start the engine with the expansion tank cap off so that you can watch the level. Add more coolant as necessary until the temperature gauge reaches the nine o'clock marking then fit the expansion tank cap. Take it for a test drive with the digital coolant temperature displayed to ensure that it shows the low to mid nineties. The next morning check the level again and replenish to the 'MAX' mark.
