Such sad reading this. It is at times like these that I really miss being nearer. If I had been there I would have shot a rocket up the necessary people to get Derek the oxygen he needed a while ago. Now unfortunately, the horse has bolted and the stable door almost shut, so too late for that. Am hoping that this message gets to Derek and Lilian , as they know I would have done what I said. I sincerely hope for all the very best for Derek's health and for Lilian to get some respite as well. Lilian must be going through a terrible range of emotions at the moment and I wish her all the very best too. I really hope that Derek stays well enough for me to come up and visit in the New Year as I planned. Would love to see them both well and on their feet again.
