Quite strange to me that for such common cars (relative to other marques) and not yet 20 years old that exhausts are such a problem.

Supermarket car parks are full during the day of 20-30 year old Nissans, Hondas, Fords etc. driven by the over 70's and all seem to be able to keep their cars on the road yet a 'modern' car like ours has to resort to expensive custom built exhausts or dodgy 3rd party parts that don't fit.
