My apologies for hijacking the thread, but I didn't see the point in starting a new one.

I'm not sure if my fbh is working properly. It did last year but it doesn't appear to warm the car up as quick. I set up the Ipk diagnostics - it only showed 9 degrees - then manually started the fbh. It runs nicely, I think, but didn't 'warm the coolant in half hour or so. The earth wasn't great, a crocodile clip, so that may have an impact. I'll try again with a better earth later but I don't think it'll make much difference.

Does this sound like the fbh is in dire need of help?
I don't really want to strip it and I cannot currently afford to buy a 2nd hand one to rebuild, but is definately a possibility.
