If it's leaking as a result of cold weather then something is wrong. Now it might go away when things warm up and then again it might not. The one sure thing is the more it happens the less likely it is to rectify itself. Get in there with a dentists mirror and a good bright light and trace the flow of leaking coolant from the V up to its highest point. Water not only flows down hill but it also "sticks" to curved surfaces (there's a scientific term for this but I can't remember it) so an accumulation in the V could have started a fair distance away.
