not a problem
whatever you do, DONT LEAVE THE COOLANT BOTTLE CAP OFF like i did. it had a serious over heat after about 10 miles, then would overheat after 3 or 4 miles, using lots of water along the way. but bear in mind i had the advantage of the outside temp. it was jan last year, so temperatures were low +, which makes a large difference to temps weve recently been experiencing.
the good thing about these types of hgf (if that is the problem) is that water doesnt contaminate the oil system, so as said, as long as youve got lots of water to hand, the car will be ok for short journies.
funny thing is, although the temperature was very high on mine at times, i never saw the overheating light, so either it didnt work, or it didnt get too hot?
